What are you doing these days?
I’m working as a magazine editor in Kent, and at weekends I can be found chanting Hare Krishna around the streets of central London.

What turns you on creatively?
Limitations

If you were a mind-reader whose mind would you like to read?
Most people’s minds tend to work on the same level – ‘I want this, this feels nice, I want people to like me, yada yada’. We like to think we’re full of mystique and nobody can understand us, but generally most people are pretty easy to understand.

If you could travel in time, which era would you visit?
Medieval India – yeah I’d be well up for that. There was a lot going on back then.

What is your favorite sound?
Morgan Freeman’s voice. Could there be anything better?

What is the album or song that influences you the most?
Alas I don’t listen to music anymore, threw my CD collection out last year. I came to the realization it was just a form of sound therapy – human body cells are made of sound vibration, so we like to sit in a room and blast them with a more dominant sound vibration to alter our mood, feelings, state of mind etc. A while ago I took up mantra meditation and found it to be a way more effective in this regard, so it’s all I seem to need now. Saying that, the album Aenema by Tool was pretty instrumental in helping me search outside the box and jolting me towards a spiritual quest when I was younger.

Who would you like to collaborate with? And why?
Vanilla Ice. Because he told me too. I also feel inclined to listen.

What drives you crazy?
Running out of incense sticks. Makes me soooo mad I almost have to punch someone in the face.

What makes you laugh?
A cat that can stand of its own accord.

If you had 3 wishes what would they be?
1. To be free from the unquenchable false burden of material desire

What is the craziest thing you ever did?
When I was a kid -- Believing that adults knew what they were talking about.

What makes you feel embarrassed?
EVERYTHING! Life is one big embarrassing situation.

How would you make the world a better place?
The world is seen from a billion different perspectives, in so many species of life. A worm crawling in poop may see it as a miserable place, another person will see it as blissful. You can have two people witnessing the same situation, one will react angrily and the other will be grateful. Really the only thing we can change is our consciousness.

Where will you be in 10 years?
They say if you wanna make God laugh, tell Him your plans. Oh ok, I’ll probably be acquiring some degree of wealth and prestige, clinging onto it as tightly as possible before the inevitable moment of death arrives. There!
