What are you doing these days? These days I’m working at CollegeHumor.com. When I’m there I help find and create original content for the site. I help brainstorm, write and act in videos. Much of my creative energy goes into an online series I created with a friend called Jake and Amir. I spend my nights eating sandwiches and watching movies on my couch.

What turns you on creatively? People. I’m lucky enough to work with tons of my friends who are all brilliant and creative. When we have an idea we build on it together, even when we think an idea is only half formed, sometimes just talking and joking together turns into something genuinely funny.

If you were a mind-reader whose mind would you like to read? I’d like to read my girlfriend’s mind. I’m not sure she sincerely liked the men’s medium cardigan I got her from J. Crew for her birthday.

If you could travel in time, which era would you visit? I’d like to go back to 1959 and record every Beatles song before they do. I’d need some time before I go though so I can learn how to play their instruments.

What is your favorite sound? The ocean.

What is the album or song that influences you the most? The 90′s kid in me won’t die. I still listen to Third Eye Blind to get pumped up.

Who would you like to collaborate with? And why? Mitch Hurwitz, because he created my favorite TV show of all time, Arrested Development. We’ve also got the same last name, so there’s your ice breaker right there.

What drives you crazy? When people are rude to each other for no reason.

What makes you laugh? People falling down will always be funny to me.

If you had 3 wishes what would they be? I’d wish for 10 billion dollars, world peace and unlimited wishes.

What is the craziest thing you ever did? I moved to New York for an unpaid internship with CollegeHumor. Thankfully, it worked out.

What makes you feel embarrassed? My gut. It’s kind of like a beer gut only i got it from cookies.

What are your favorite web-sites (not including the ones that you are participate in)? I really love ApartmentTherapy.com. I’m a huge nerd for interior decorating.

What is the silliest thing you have ever done? In college I once, on a whim, drove 5 hours to the beach at midnight with some friends. We were in central Pennsylvania and a few of us just got it in our heads that we needed to see an ocean. We drove all night. When we got to the beach the first light was coming up over the water, the wind was blowing in our faces and there wasn’t a single person around us. It was awesome. We never realized it was a silly thing to do until we remembered we had to drive the 5 hours back. Still, I’d do it again.

How would you make the world a better place? Since I’m never going to be able to cure any diseases or stop any wars I think the best thing I can do is make comedy for people who feel crummy to get their mind off of things. I also want to volunteer more.

What is your biggest weakness? I get obsessed with things and work intensely on them. But sometimes if something else starts to get my attention, I’ll go and obsess over that- forgetting all about my original project. For everything I’ve finished there are probably ten ideas I’ve given up on.

Where will you be in 10 years? Hopefully living in a house with a woman I love and a kid or two. I hope I’m writing. And I ‘d like to have a big gray dog.
